Home Documentation Automate Parallel Tests Calculator

Parallel Tests Calculator

Faster build times and faster releases with Parallel Testing

With Parallel Testing, BrowserStack Automate and App Automate allow you to run multiple tests in parallel across various browsers/devices and OS combinations. In this way, more tests can be run at a time, thereby decreasing overall time spent on testing. Faster build times mean faster releases and less time spent waiting for builds to complete.

Use this calculator to understand how many parallel sessions you need to achieve your test coverage and build execution time goals. You can also download an Excel version.

# of Browsers and/or Devices
The number of unique desktop browser and/or mobile device combinations to test.
# of Parallel tests
The number of parallel tests you are currently running.
