Create a Visual Scan
Create and Schedule a one-time or recurring scan of your website using Visual scanner
Visual scanner scans your website for UI issues. You can set up one-time or recurring scans based on your requirements. The best time to identify and fix UI issues is during the development or staging process. However, you can also scan public pages.
Steps to create a scan
To schedule a visual scan, follow these steps:
On the Percy dashboard, click Visual scanner.
Click New scan to schedule a recurring scan or run a one-time scan. The Create a new scan settings open.
To create a new scan you must first add pages for the scan by selecting one of the following:
- Add via sitemap [link to extract urls]
- Add manually [link to add manually]
- Enter Name for the scan. You can schedule a recurring scan, enable Schedule recurring scans and then enter the recurrence details. [Learn more] (Schedule a scan page link)
- Click Create scan.
Visual scanner now displays your scan in the Scans list.
Login configuration
To scan a page that requires a user authentication, add Login configuration in More settings.
