Device Deprecation policy

At BrowserStack, we strive to give our customers access to the devices that maximise their device coverage.

We periodically look at our devices and identify old devices (typically more than five years since release date) and those with a low current market share (typically < 1%). Since such devices may no longer be relevant for our customers they may be considered for deprecation.

In such a scenario, we will be doing prompt customer communication and provide appropriate time period for the customers to update their scripts.

One a device goes into deprecated state, it will be removed from our infrastructure and users will not be able to run sessions on it. Users will be encouraged to update their test scripts or risk their tests failing.
