What does the integration offer?

BrowserStack Test Observability enables you to delve into a commit associated with a build. It also allows you to explore every file in a test suite that a test case is a part of.

Currently, Test Observability natively supports the following git-based SCM tools:

• GitHub
• GitLab
• Bitbucket

How does the integration work?

BrowserStack SDKs capture the git-related information from the file system if it exists. Based on that, it prepares the URL and creates the hyperlinks on Test Observability.

Also, the tool only creates URLs based on the information it gathers. It does not have access to your SCM tools. So, only you in your browser can open any private repository URL. BrowserStack does not have access to it.
