Use AssistiveTouch on remote iOS devices

The AssistiveTouch feature on iOS devices enables you to perform actions and gestures such as locking your screen, adjusting volume, restarting your device, etc. For more information, check out the AssistiveTouch documentation at https://support.apple.com/en-in/HT202658.

App Live enables you to test your app on remote iOS devices using AssistiveTouch. Some scenarios that you can test with AssistiveTouch are:

  • simulate buttons
  • multi-finger gestures
  • custom actions
  • create new gestures

Test your app using AssistiveTouch

  1. Log in to the App Live dashboard.
  2. On the App Live dashboard, upload or install your app and select the device to start your test session.
  3. On the App Live vertical toolbar, click iOS Settings.
  4. Under General Settings, enable the AssistiveTouch option. Enable AssistiveTouch in App Live
