Generate Test Cases using AI

Test case authoring can be complex and time-consuming. To streamline this process, BrowserStack Test Management harnesses the power of generative AI. Our AI assistant analyzes your existing test cases, providing intelligent test case suggestions to simplify the creation of new test cases and autofill essential details. This approach leverages your existing test data to improve the accuracy of suggestions.

• Test Case Generation:
  Generate a comprehensive set of test case suggestions based on your existing test cases, ensuring optimal test coverage.
• Autofill Test Case details:
  AI intelligently auto-populates test case fields (Description, Test Steps, Expected Results, Preconditions, Priority, and Test Case Type), saving you time and ensuring consistency.

Generate Test Cases

Follow the below steps to generate test case suggestions.

1. Click the Suggest Test Cases icon in the Test Case view.
2. A set of three Test case suggestions is generated based on existing test cases.
3. Click Add to add a suggested test case.

The generated test cases are added to your project.

Autofill Test Case Details

Test Management’s AI assistant helps you autofill test case details for new test cases and edit existing ones quickly and accurately. As you type, the AI infers patterns from your previous test cases and suggests how to complete the remaining fields.

While creating or editing test cases let AI assist you with filling in all the test case details based on existing test cases. Follow the below steps to generate and autofill test case details.

1. Enter Title for your test case and Click Autofill Details icon beside it.

   As you begin to fill in test case fields, the AI will offer context-aware suggestions to complete the remaining fields.

2. AI assistant will fill in all the details such as:
   • Description, Test Steps & Expected Results, Preconditions, Priority, Type of Test Case.

   

3. Click Create or Update to accept and save the AI-assisted changes.
