We’re thrilled to announce the 'Dynamic Device Allocation' feature for your mobile web automation tests on Automate. 🏆

You’ll just need to specify the device attributes that you care about, and BrowserStack will intelligently choose the most suitable available device from the matching pool of devices. 🤖 This will help you to:

1. Have greater flexibility over test device selection 📱 💻
2. Experience nil testing queues due to device tier limits ✅
3. Accelerate your tests with expanded device coverage 🚀

Few examples of how this feature can help you test faster:

1. Setting a regex value like iPhone 13.*(any iPhone 13 variant) in the device capability will extend the tier limit to 216 parallels from the current 80. 📲
2. Passing device capability as 'deviceType = phone' or 'deviceType = tablet' will assign the first available device type for your tests. 📱 💻

which means that even if a tier limit is reached on one iPhone 13 variant or any other device type, your remaining tests will still run on other variants without any queuing and dropoffs.

To enable Dynamic Device Allocation, just specify regex for one or more of the supported attributes such as deviceName, platformVersion, or deviceType.
