How do I use the BrowserStack Visual Studio extension?

Please ensure you have Microsoft ASP.NET and Web Tools 2012.2 installed for Visual Studio 2012. This will help register BrowserStack in the list of browsers on which you can test. On clicking on BrowserStack, you will see a list of browsers and OSes we support, and then use the BrowserStack cloud infrastructure to view your website. If you've already installed the BrowserStack extension, it should show up in the Browse With menu after installing ASP.NET and Web Tools 2012.

If you're using Visual Studio Express 2012, please download the extension. For all other Visual Studio versions including 2012, 2013, and 2015, please download the extension from the Extension Gallery. Double-click the extension to start installation. Once installed, you should see BrowserStack under Tools, and then under Extensions and Updates. To view your Visual Studio project in BrowserStack, select BrowserStack in the Browse With menu and run your project.
