Monitor network logs using Network tracking

You can view the HTTP/S traffic in the Network tab of the DevTools pane. With the Network tab, you can monitor network requests and responses of your application in real-time using different proxy or network settings to track network traffic. You can also filter and download logs for further analysis.

Supported devices

All devices, except devices listed in the Which devices do not support network tracking? FAQ.

Use the Network tab

To use the Network tab, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the App Live dashboard.
  2. Select your app and a device from the device listing to launch your test session.
The DevTools pane opens automatically. If you close it and want to open it again, click the DevTools option in the horizontal toolbar.
  3. On the DevTools pane, click Network.
  4. On the Network tab, select one of the following network tracking options as per your preference and then click Save configuration:
    • Disable tracking: All traffic bypasses the network proxy.
    • Enable for all traffic: Enable network traffic for all requests and responses.
Certain apps such as Play Store, App Store, and TestFlight may not work.
    • Enable for specific domains: Only track requests initiated from the application.

When you enable or disable the Network tracking options, the device restarts automatically.

Configure Network Tracking Select Remember for all sessions to enable network logs for all your test sessions.

The Remember for all sessions feature is available to select Enterprise plan users. If you are an Enterprise plan user, you can contact our Support team to enable this feature for your account.
