Test native and hybrid apps using XCUITest framework on BrowserStack

XCUITest is a mobile automation framework that helps you write functional UI tests for your iOS applications. BrowserStack App Automate supports XCUITest testing on a wide range of real iOS devices. If you are new to App Automate, we recommend checking our Getting started guide for XCUITest testing.

Our XCUITest API enables you to integrate and run your XCUITest tests on BrowserStack. XCUITest API follows the general conventions of REST. The API reference is organised into four main sections :

Apps

Upload application under test to BrowserStack.

Test-suites

Upload XCUITest test-suites on BrowserStack.

Builds

Start execution of XCUITest tests and fetch overall test build summary.

Sessions

Get access to detailed test results and debugging information.

XCTestPlan

Run Test Plans and with different configurations.

If we make backward-incompatible changes to our APIs, we release a new version for XCUITest API. The current version of XCUITest API is v2. We strongly recommend you use the latest version whenever possible.
