Low power mode in remote iOS devices

The low power mode in an iOS device reduces power usage when the battery is low, enabling the device to operate longer before it is charged. You can enable the low power mode for the battery by using the Settings app. Enabling low power mode affects the functionality of some features, as listed in Apple documentation.

App Live enables you to test your app by using the low power mode on remote BrowserStack iOS devices.

Enable low power mode in remote devices

  1. Log in to the App Live dashboard.
  2. On the App Live dashboard, upload or install your app and select the device from the device listing, to launch your test session.
  3. On the App Live vertical toolbar, click iOS Settings.
  4. On the iOS Settings prompt, enable Low Power Mode. Enable low power mode You see a message that low power mode is enabled.
