Browser upgrade issues
Understanding the Chromium v120 and v121 browser upgrade issues.
There have been observed issues in Chromium versions 120 and 121 that may impact your experience. In Chromium v120, a new sub-grid implementation resulted in timeouts on Percy and live disruptions for users depending on subgrids, but this was rectified in subsequent Chromium releases. In Chromium v121, a new issue is observed related to grid functionality. This is causing image flakiness in the generated Percy builds and becomes apparent when users review the screenshots on the Percy dashboard.
It’s important to note that this is not a Percy issue, but a Chromium one. We have raised a Chromium bug for the same. You can check the filed bug details and also try to reproduce this issue by following the instructions here.
