Spectra™ iOS 1.0 is the first version of the BrowserStack App Accessibility rule engine for iOS apps installed from the App Store or TestFlight. Reports generated from scans using this version show Spectra iOS 1.0.0, or a later 1.0 patch release, as their Rule engine version in their scan details.
Apps installed from other sources use Spectra™ iOS 2.x.
What this version checks
The rule engine checks your app against the accessibility standard set in your scan settings:
- WCAG 2.1 at level A, AA, or AAA
- WCAG 2.2 at level A, AA, or AAA
- RAAM 1.1
Rules are grouped into categories. Best practice rules and experimental rules run when the corresponding settings are on. For the full list of rules and the platforms each rule supports, see the App Accessibility rules repository.
