Release notes for Spectra™ iOS 2.0, the first versioned rule engine release for iOS apps installed from sources other than the App Store or TestFlight.

Spectra™ iOS 2.0 is the first version of the BrowserStack App Accessibility rule engine for iOS apps installed from sources other than the App Store or TestFlight, such as apps you upload to BrowserStack. Reports generated from scans using this version show Spectra iOS 2.0.0, or a later 2.0 patch release, as their Rule engine version in their scan details.

Apps installed from the App Store or TestFlight use Spectra™ iOS 1.x.

What this version checks

The rule engine checks your app against the accessibility standard set in your scan settings:

• WCAG 2.1 at level A, AA, or AAA
• WCAG 2.2 at level A, AA, or AAA
• RAAM 1.1
