Asset discovery remains open for 30 seconds per snapshot. If the process of discovering and capturing assets exceeds this duration, it suggests an issue, as a test typically shouldn’t take longer than 30 seconds to execute.

Unfortunately, there is not a single-line configuration fix for this issue. To address it, you need to examine the debug logs from asset discovery to identify requests that are hanging or resolving slowly. Also, ensure that your network-idle-timeout configuration isn’t set too high. Look for slow requests and verify that you are not capturing assets from unnecessary hostnames.
