Access Calendar app on remote iOS devices
App Live enables you to access the default Calendar app on remote BrowserStack iOS devices, to test different use cases for your app.
What you can test
With access to the Calendar app on remote iOS devices, you can test different scenarios such as:
- Add a Calendar account by accessing the Calendar settings option in iOS Settings on the remote device.
- Set Calendar notification style by accessing the Calendar settings option in iOS Settings on the remote device.
- Add a calendar, manage added calendars, and delegate calendars to contacts in the Contacts app on the remote device.
- Create new calendar events, and add invitees from contacts in the Contacts app of the remote device.
- Add calendar attachments from the Files app of the remote device.
- View calendar attachments on the browser.
- Check Notification Center for notifications received in the Calendar app.
Supported devices
App Live enables access to Calendar app on remote devices running iOS 13.3 to 13.7.
Support for iOS versions higher than iOS 13 is on the roadmap.
Access Calendar app on remote devices
- Log in to the App Live dashboard.
- Upload or install your app, and select the iOS device from the device listing, to launch your test session.
- On the App Live vertical toolbar, click iOS Settings.
- On the iOS Settings prompt, click Calendar under App Settings, to access the Calendar app settings.
