Access Mail app on remote iOS devices

App Live enables you to access the default Mail app on remote BrowserStack iOS devices, to test different use cases for your app.

What you can test

With access to the Mail app on remote iOS devices, you can test the following scenarios:

• Add an account in the iOS Mail app.
• Add email contacts from the Contacts app on the remote device.
• Compose and send an email, forward an email, and reply to an email.
• Send image and video as email attachments by using the Camera or Photos app on the remote device.
• Send file attachments by attaching files from the Files app on the remote device.
• Perform actions such as preview, download, save, share, copy, etc., on email attachments.
• View and manage emails across all added accounts.
• Check Notifications Center for notifications received in the Mail app.

Supported devices

App Live enables access to Mail app on remote devices running iOS 13.3 to 13.7.

Support for iOS versions higher than iOS 13 is on the roadmap.

Access Mail app on remote devices

1. Log in to the App Live dashboard.
2. Upload or install your app and select the iOS device from the device listing, to launch your test session.
3. On the App Live vertical toolbar, click iOS Settings.
4. On the iOS Settings prompt, click Mail under App Settings, to access the Mail app settings.
