NVDA keyboard shortcuts for Windows
Complete list of NVDA keyboard shortcuts supported on BrowserStack Live.
NonVisual Desktop Access (NVDA) is an open-source screen reader that provides a comprehensive set of keyboard shortcuts to navigate and interact with websites and applications.

Keyboard layout configuration
When you enable the NVDA screen reader on BrowserStack Live, the screen reader’s keyboard layout is set to the desktop layout by default. To use the keyboard shortcuts listed in the following tables, you must change the keyboard layout to the laptop layout using the NVDA menu.
To change the keyboard layout to the laptop layout in NVDA:
- In an active BrowserStack Live test session, open the NVDA menu:
- On a Windows keyboard, press
Insert + N. - On a macOS keyboard, press
Control + Right Option + N.
- On a Windows keyboard, press
- Go to Preferences > Settings > Keyboard.
- From the Keyboard layout drop-down, select laptop. Then, click OK.
