Advanced reporting and analytics

Learn how to view advanced reporting and analytics of your tests in Low Code Automation.

Low Code Automation integrates with BrowserStack Test Reporting & Analytics to provide advanced reporting, debugging, and analytics for your test suite.

Access reporting and analytics

You can access reporting and analytics in the following ways:

  • From Builds, click Access stability trends, build insights, and insights here. Access stability trends, build insights, and insights from Builds
  • Open a build from Builds and click View test reporting analytics. View test reporting analytics from a build
  • In the left navigation, click Testing Trends. Click Testing Trends in the left navigation

Map test case IDs

You can map the steps in your Low Code Automation tests with test cases in Browserstack’s Test Management product. tool. This ensures that tests in Low Code Automation are correctly linked to their corresponding test cases in Browserstack’s Test Management tool.

Follow these steps to map test case IDs:

  1. Open Tests.
  2. Click the Configurations tab.
  3. Open Map test case IDs.
  4. Select Browserstack’s Test Management.
  5. Click Edit Mapping and update the mapping if necessary.

After you map the test cases, the status in the Browserstack’s Test Management tool updates automatically each time your Low Code Automation tests run.

For more information, see Integrate with test management tools.

Default mapping of tests

Mapping your Low Code Automation (LCA) tests with test cases in Browserstack’s Test Management tool is required for seamless integration. If you do not map a test, BrowserStack treats it as a new test case in Test Management and applies a one-to-one default mapping. You can update this mapping at any time by editing it.

Test cases in Test Management are created only after the first run of your tests.

BrowserStack creates these test cases in a folder named LCA, under Automation in Test Management. You can reorganize this folder structure in Test Management at any time.

Tests in Low Code Automation vs test cases in Test Reporting & Analytics

Tests in Low Code Automation are recordings of a specific user flow and do not need to map to test cases on a one-to-one basis. A single test in Low Code Automation can represent a combination of multiple test cases in Test Reporting & Analytics.
