Learn how test run detailed reports can help you gain insights from various testing activities by outlining their capabilities, requirements, and limitations.
The test run detailed reports provides an in-depth analysis of individual test runs, offering comprehensive data on each test caseβs execution. This report is tailored to provide detailed information to diagnose issues and refine testing strategies.

- Test run performance: Analyze test run performance over a time range, highlighting trends and anomalies.
- Test run status: Lists all active and closed test runs, enabling tracking of testing progress.
- Test case details: Provides a complete list of test cases within each test run, including their individual statuses.
- Issue association: Details the number and specifics of issues linked to each test run and test result, facilitating targeted debugging.

Generate a test run detailed report
To create a test run detailed report:
- In the project dashboard, click the Reports tab in the left-side navigation bar.

Click Create Report from the reports dashboard.

A Create Report window appears.

In the Create Report window, enter the following details:

- In the Type of Report dropdown, select Test Run detailed report.
- Select test runs to include based on:

Creation Time:
Choose a time range (e.g.,Last 1 month,Last 1 week,Last 24 hours, or acustomrange). - Specific Test Run: Click Add to add specific test runs to create the report. You can also use filters to narrow down the test runs.

Creation Time:
- Expand Advanced Filters (optional) to refine which test runs are included. You can filter by:
- Status of Test Case: Include only passed, failed, blocked, or other specific statuses.
- Test Case Type: Focus on specific types (e.g., functional, UI, regression).
- Test Case Priority: Include only high, medium, or low priority cases.
- Test Case Assignee: Filter by who is assigned to the test cases.

Specific Test Run:
- Click Update and choose one or more specific test runs that you want to include in the report.

Enable Link Runs Dynamically toggle to automatically include relevant current and future Test Runs based on filter criteria. However, this dynamic linking does not work with the Created filter.

Configure scheduling:
Toggle Schedule reports on to set up automated delivery.- Daily: Select the time (in UTC) for the report to be generated each day.
- Weekly: Choose the day of the week and the time (UTC) for the report to be sent.
- In the Recipients field, enter the names or emails of the individuals who should receive the scheduled report. You can add multiple recipients.
- Provide a descriptive Title for your report. Optionally, you may add a brief Description to provide the context.
- After all fields are set, click Update or Create to schedule the report.
A βReport generated successfullyβ notification appears on the dashboard, and reports are sent to specified recipients. If you have created reports with automatic recurring reports, they will appear in the Reports dashboard.
Filter test cases in the report
After you open a Test Run Detailed Report, a filter icon appears at the top-right of the Test cases included in this report table. Click the icon. A filter panel opens from the right of the page. The panel narrows the test cases shown in the table. Filters do not affect the summary tiles at the top of the report or the saved report itself.
The filter panel has four fields. Every field is optional. An empty field leaves that filter off.

Assignee. Limits the table to test cases assigned to the users you select. The dropdown includes Unassigned for test cases with no assignee.

Test Result Last Updated Date. Limits the table to test cases whose latest result falls in the selected date range. Choose
Last 24 hours,Last week,Last month,Last 3 months,Last 6 months, orLast 1 Year. PickCustom Date Rangeto set your own start and end dates. -
Test Run Latest Status. Limits the table to test cases whose latest result matches the statuses you select. The available statuses are
passed,failed,blocked,retest,skipped,untested, andin_progress. -
Test Run Result Last Updated By. Limits the table to test cases whose latest result was recorded by the users you select.

To apply your selections, click Save at the bottom of the panel. The table reloads with the filtered rows.
To dismiss the panel without applying changes, click Cancel.
Manage applied filters
After you click Save, each applied filter appears as a chip above the table. To remove a single filter, click the Γ on its chip. To remove every filter at once, click Clear All.
