landmark-banner-is-top-level
Make sure that banner landmarks are not nested within other landmarks.
Description
It’s typically advisable for a webpage to have a single banner landmark which is a top-level landmark and not nested within other landmarks.
Why is it important?
If the banner landmark isn’t at the top level and is instead placed inside another landmark, it doesn’t properly show where the main header is. This makes it harder for screen reader users to find and move around the header part of the page.
How to fix?
To ensure proper usage of the role="banner"
landmark, it is important to verify that no other landmark nests the elements designated with this role.
