Delink device orientation on BrowserStack real Android devices
App Live enables you to delink your app orientation from the device orientation on BrowserStack real Android devices, to test use cases that require testing app orientation independent of the device orientation.
Supported devices
App Live supports delinking device orientation on devices running Android 10 and higher.
Delink device orientation
- Log in to the App Live dashboard.
- Upload or install your app, and select the Android device from the device listing, to launch your test session.
- On the App Live vertical toolbar, click Android Settings.
- On the Android Settings prompt, do any of the following:
- To delink device orientation from app orientation, ensure that App Orientation is disabled. This option is disabled by default.
- To test app orientation in sync with device orientation, enable App Orientation.
- To delink device orientation from app orientation, ensure that App Orientation is disabled. This option is disabled by default.
