System & transactional Emails

Learn about the types of system and transactional emails sent by QEI, including notifications for data sync failures and PDF dashboard downloads.

Beyond configurable alerts and subscriptions, QEI sends two other types of emails:

• Notifications about data sync failures
• User-initiated PDF downloads.

These emails are not based on managed preferences and cannot be disabled.

Partial sync failure emails

This is a diagnostic email sent only when QEI encounters a technical problem and fails to fetch data from one of your connected tools. The email is sent exclusively to the user account that originally authenticated the connection to the failing tool.

PDF download emails

When you choose to download a dashboard as a PDF, the system generates the file in the background and sends it to you via email.

To download a dashboard as a PDF, on any dashboard, click the Download (arrow) icon.

QEI will prepare the PDF report. Once ready, the PDF will be sent as an attachment to your account’s email address.
