Connect to Confluence

Learn how to fetch context from Confluence links to quickly generate test cases and create automation scripts.

Connect your Confluence workspace to Test Companion to fetch data via page URLs. This integration enables you to generate and automate test cases directly from your documented requirements, Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), team debriefs or technical specifications.

Prerequisites

Before you start, confirm these:

  • Install Test Companion in your IDE and sign in.
  • Complete the Confluence integration flow to connect your Confluence account.
  • You must have permission to view the specific Confluence page.

After you connect Confluence, use Confluence link(s) directly in the Test Companion chat to gather context.

  1. Open Test Companion in IDE.
  2. Paste one or more Confluence page link(s) directly into the chat message.

  3. Enter your instructions regarding what you want Test Companion to do with the Confluence link(s).
  4. Click Send message (➤).

The agent processes the content of the Confluence page to fulfill your specific prompt. Whether you requested automation scripts, manual test scenarios, or logical analyses, the output is generated directly from the context of your requirements document.
