Visual Scanner - email notifications

Receive email alerts for scan results and updates.

Visual Scanner sends various email notifications to keep you informed about your scan’s status and updates. Below are the types of emails you may receive and what they include.

Types of email notifications

Visual Scanner sends different types of emails based on scan activity, status updates, and milestones.

• Weekly summary email: Includes key scan updates and build status summaries.
• Non-reviewing Groups email: Sent to groups that are not actively reviewing builds.
• Successful Onboarding email: Sent to acknowledge and confirm successful onboarding.
• Integration email
  • Unreviewed Builds: Notifies about builds with visual changes or requested changes. These notifications auto-update if the build status changes.
  • No Changes: Sent for builds with no visual changes.
  • Auto-approved Builds: Sent for auto-approved builds from designated branches.
  • Approved Builds: Provides notifications when builds are approved.

Configure emails

To configure email notifications, go to your Visual Scanner Project settings page. From there, return to the Percy home page and navigate to the Integrations section. Alternatively, use the link provided in the first email to access the configuration settings.

Enter up to 20 email addresses in the Email addresses text box. You can configure notifications for a specific project or all projects, with All projects selected by default. For more details, see Integrate Email with Percy.
