View App Accessibility Testing reports

Learn how to view reports in the BrowserStack App Accessibility Testing dashboard.

The scan reports provide detailed information about accessibility issues detected during a scan. Each report includes annotated screenshots to help you identify affected elements and labels.

Prerequisites

View reports

To view Workflow Analyzer reports:

  1. In the App Accessibility dashboard, select one of the following based on your testing method:
    • Manual Test Reports: Reports for manual scans conducted using the Workflow Analyzer.

    • Automated Tests: Reports for scans conducted using App Accessibility Automated testing.

  2. Locate a report using one of the following methods:
    • Enter a report name, app name, device, or user in the search field (annotation 1).

    • Select Filter (annotation 2) to refine the report list by options, such as creation date, user, device, or OS.

  3. Click a report to open it.
    The report displays details about detected accessibility issues, including severity levels, affected elements, and associated labels.

View excluded rules

The App Accessibility reports also display the rules that were excluded from the scan based on your configuration.

View rules that are excluded for all tests in a build

To view rules that were excluded for all tests in a build:

  • Select the WCAG version dropdown in the report header. The dropdown lists the rules that were included and excluded in the scan based on your configuration.

View rules that are excluded based on test-level rule configuration

To view rules that were excluded for specific tests based on test-level rule configuration:

  1. In the report, navigate to the Tests section. This section lists all the tests that were part of the scan along with their results.

  2. Click a test to open detailed information about the accessibility issues detected in that test.

  3. In the test details view, select the WCAG version dropdown in the header to view the rules that were included and excluded for that specific test based on your test-level rule configuration.
