Sign in to App Store or TestFlight with Apple ID
Step-by-step procedure to sign in to the App Store or TestFlight on BrowserStack real devices.
To download apps for testing or access your purchased apps on a BrowserStack real iOS device, sign in to the App Store or TestFlight with your Apple ID and two-factor authentication code.
Prerequisites
- Apple ID and password.
- The trusted device to receive the two-factor authentication code (if enabled).
Sign in to App Store or TestFlight
To sign in to the App Store or TestFlight on a BrowserStack real iOS device:
Start an App Live session with your preferred iOS device. For detailed steps, see Launch session.
Once the test session is running, follow the steps to open the App Store:
- Click Show Home Screen on the BrowserStack toolbar.
- Open the App Store app.
Click the user icon (👤) in the upper-right corner of the App Store home page.
![]()
Enter your Apple ID and press Enter on your physical keyboard (or the equivalent key on your input device).
Alternatively, click continue on the on-screen keyboard.

Enter your password:
- On iOS 13 and later, the password field is hidden for security reasons. Enter your password even if you cannot see the characters.
- Do not click the on-screen Continue button after entering your password. Instead, press Enter on your physical keyboard (or the equivalent key on your input device) to submit your password. If you do not have two-factor authentication enabled, you will be signed in to the App Store.
The on-screen keyboard might not be visible, but it remains active and overlaid on the Continue button. Clicking Continue can cause unintended characters from this hidden keyboard to be entered into the password field, resulting in authentication failure.

Optional : If you have two-factor authentication enabled, enter the verification code sent to your trusted device when prompted. The device will be signed in to the App Store.
To sign in to TestFlight:
- Click Show Home Screen on the BrowserStack toolbar.
- Open the TestFlight app.
- Click Continue to view and test your iOS apps.
Troubleshooting
- If you still cannot sign in, ensure your Apple ID credentials are correct and two-factor authentication is enabled.
- On the password entry screen, make sure that you press Enter on your physical keyboard (or the equivalent key on your input device) to submit your password instead of clicking the on-screen Continue button. See Step 5 for more details.
