Manage manual test runs
Manual test runs help teams validate application behavior by executing predefined test cases manually. This approach supports thorough testing, providing flexibility and control over test execution, which is particularly valuable for exploratory testing or scenarios requiring human judgment. BrowserStack Test Management simplifies manual test runs, enabling users to efficiently plan, execute, and track testing efforts.
To assign test runs to new users, they must log into Test Management at least once to appear in the Assign To list.
Test case management includes the following key activities:
- Create test cases: Establishing new test cases that align with specific testing objectives within a project.
- Edit and delete test cases: Modifying existing test cases to reflect changes in requirements or removing obsolete ones.
- Copy and Move test cases: Organizing test cases by copying or moving them between different projects or folders.
- Filter test cases: Applying filters to focus on specific test cases, making it easier to manage large volumes of tests.
- Use shared steps: Reusing common steps across multiple test cases to ensure consistency and reduce redundancy.
This overview serves as a starting point to help you effectively manage your test cases, ensuring a well-organized and efficient testing process.
