Test case activity report

Track how your test case library changes over time, including automation and AI coverage, in Test Management for Jira.

The test case activity report shows how your test case library is changing over time. Use it to track authoring effort, automation progress, and how many cases your team creates with AI.

What the report shows

The report covers the test cases you include:

• Summary tiles: the count of test cases created, updated, and deleted.
• Test Run Coverage: the share of cases linked to a test run.
• Automation Coverage: the share of cases that are automated versus not automated.
• AI Coverage for test cases: how cases were created, split across AI generated, manually created, automation, quick imported, and CSV imported.
• Trend of Test Cases: created, updated, archived, and deleted cases over time.

Create this report

To create this report, follow the Create a report steps. Select Test Case Activity as the Type of Report. Choose the cases to include by Creation Time, which covers cases actioned within a range, or by Specific Test Case(s).
