What is the Test sensitive use cases option in App Live?

The Test sensitive use cases option enables you to test certain scenarios that involve sensitive data. After you enable this option, you can test some blocked test scenarios such as restrictions on taking screenshots or recording the screen. For example, banking applications that restrict users from taking screenshots or recording screens that contain banking or transaction details.

Important: Enabling the Test sensitive use cases option might impact the session experience and cause slower responses on the device. It is recommended to use this option only for  test cases where this option is necessary.

iOS 13.4 and above

Enable Test sensitive use cases

The Test sensitive use cases option is not persistent. You have to enable it in each App Live session.

To enable the Test sensitive use cases option:

  1. Log in to the App Live dashboard.
  2. On the App Live dashboard, select the device-browser combination to start your test session.
  3. On the horizontal toolbar, click Settings.
  4. Switch the Test sensitive use cases toggle to on.
