- Playwright v1.53 Release: We are now supporting the latest Playwright v1.53, which includes a new locator.describe() method for better trace reports, customizable HTML report titles, and more.
App Automate
- Camera & Video Injection: We now support Camera and Video injection for apps that use a camera preview.
- Wait and Gestures Plugins: Wait and gestures plugins are now supported on App Automate.
- View DC Information: You can now view the data centre (DC) information for your sessions.
Accessibility Testing
- WCAG Conformance View: You can now check your accessibility reports against major compliance standards like ADA and EAA.
- Updated A11y Scoring: We've revamped our accessibility scoring logic to provide a more accurate and meaningful understanding of your website's conformance to WCAG standards.
- GRR Compliance: We now support GRR compliance in the EU and India regions, helping you ensure regulatory adherence.
Test Management
- Cloning Shared Steps: You can now clone shared steps directly from the Shared Steps view, making it easier to duplicate and maintain consistency.
- RBAC for Test Plans: Test plans now have dedicated permissions under Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), giving administrators granular control over who can create, edit, and delete them.
- AI Test Case Creation with Jira: Our new AI Test Case Generator can now create test cases by pulling requirements directly from linked Jira issues.
- Test Case Activity Report: A new report provides comprehensive insights into test case activity across a project, tracking creations, updates, deletions, and offering automation and AI coverage metrics.
- Enhanced Test Run Reports: We've significantly enhanced the Test Run Detailed Report with richer exports, flexible column selection, and the ability to export data directly from the Test Run screen.
- Test Datasets: We've introduced Test Datasets to help you define and reuse data variables in your test cases, which improves coverage and reduces duplication.
- Shared Steps Enhancements: We've added more improvements to shared steps, including the ability to copy shared steps between projects, add tags for better organisation, and view all linked test cases.
Test Reporting And Analytics
- AI RCA Agent: We've launched our AI RCA Agent in an invite-only beta. This new agent provides a one-click root cause analysis and suggests next steps for failed tests by analyzing logs and other data to mimic a QA's workflow.
- GitHub PR Checks: You can now enforce quality within your GitHub PR checks. This feature uses quality signals from TRA to automatically mark pull requests as ready to merge or not, providing actionable insights.
- Improved Filters: Users can now filter builds by source (Aut/App Aut/External Grid) and test type (API, Unit, E2E) for more granular data views.
- XCUIT & Espresso Support on CAD: We've added support for XCUIT and Espresso non-SDK flows on CAD and have begun ingesting data for all customers using these frameworks.
- Ignore Hooks: Enhanced hook visibility preferences now allow you to ignore all or partial hooks from test reporting and analytics for a cleaner view.
- Cross-Project Build Comparison: You can now compare build runs across different projects. This build comparison feature is also now available on our Test Management platform.
- CI/CD Integrations: TRA build reports are now available in Jenkins, Azure, Circle CI, and GitHub Actions.
Percy
- Storybook V9 Support: We now support Storybook V9, allowing you to build and test your UI components with the latest features.
- API and CLI Build Actions: You can now use API and CLI to perform review actions on builds (approve, reject, delete), streamlining your CI/CD pipeline and automated workflows.
- Device Upgrades: We've upgraded our devices to support Safari on iOS 18.4 and Chrome on Android 15, so you can test on the latest mobile operating systems.
Low Code Automation
- Rerun Failed Tests: We've introduced a new feature to automatically or manually re-run only failed tests. This saves significant time by updating the original build with final results and a comprehensive report.
- Database Call: A new Database Call feature allows you to directly connect to databases like MySQL and PostgreSQL and execute SQL queries within your tests, enabling you to validate backend data and use query responses as variables.
- Intelligent Element Selection: To reduce flakiness, our new intelligent element selection feature prompts you to configure specific attributes (like text or position) when selecting an element, creating more stable and resilient tests.
