Additional Privacy Terms – Test Observability

Data import

For providing “Services” under “Test Observability”, BrowserStack would collect “Customer Content” using BrowserStack Software Development Kit (SDK) or through the test report upload option. 

All Data accessed, collected, stored, or used for Test Observability including personal information will be subject to and in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Additional Privacy Terms for Test Observability. All data used will solely be for the purpose of providing the Services and we will not share your Data with any third parties without your consent.

Data retention 

Any “Customer Content” collected while using Test Observability or metrics derived from them may be retained for a maximum period of two (2) years from the date a test was captured on the platform and may be subject to your applicable purchase plan. We may also retain your information to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our policies.

Data deletion

If you no longer wish for your personal information to be stored by us, you have the right to request that we delete your information. We will comply with your request in a timely manner, provided that we are not required to retain your information for legal or other legitimate business purposes. Please note that deletion of your data may impact our ability to provide the services to you.

Definition

Data: Data refers to Customer Content for the purpose of this policy. 

Customer Content: For the purpose of this policy, the Customer Content also includes artifacts such as test related logs, test name, test details and metadata information which are required for this service to operate.

Consent

By choosing to use Test Observability you agree to provide BrowserStack the right to access, use, modify and transmit data (“Data import”) from your “Devices” for the limited purpose of using this offering. “Devices” may include any virtual machines, physical electronic devices, and device emulators which you may use to run your tests or host your application under test. BrowserStack will not be responsible for any data stored in your Devices. 

You further agree that BrowserStack may use aggregated or anonymized “Customer Content” for any business purpose during or after the term during which you use the offering, including without limitation to develop and improve BrowserStack products and services and to create and distribute insights, reports and other materials.

Further you deemed to have consented to these Additional Terms including the Terms listed in our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy . These Additional Privacy Terms are incorporated by reference into the Terms of Service or any other agreement between the parties.  In case of a conflict between these Additional Privacy Terms and the terms mentioned in the Terms of Service, agreement, and/or Privacy Policy pages, these Additional Privacy Terms shall prevail.
