By providing a website url for scanning, you acknowledge and consent to the access, collect, store, use and transfer of Data including personal information (if any) contained in the website which will be used subject to and in accordance with our Privacy Policy and these Additional Privacy Terms for Website Scanner. We will take all necessary measures to ensure the security of your Data during transfer and processing. We will use your imported Data solely for the purpose of providing the Services and will not share your Data with any third parties without your consent.
Data Retention
Any Customer Content generated while using Website Scanner may be retained for a maximum period of three (3) years from the date a test report was stored on the platform and may be subject to your applicable purchase plan. We may also retain your information to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our policies.
Further, You authorize BrowserStack to communicate with and operate the third party’s integrated service. Transmitting Data may be subject to limitations, errors or disruptions caused by the use of such third-party services or products.
Data deletion
If you no longer wish for your personal information to be stored by us, you have the right to request that we delete your information. We will comply with your request in a timely manner, provided that we are not required to retain your information for legal or other legitimate business purposes. Please note that deletion of your data may impact our ability to provide Website Scanner offering to you.
Legal disclaimer
Use of Website Scanner (“Website Scanner”) and/or any extensions that depend on availability of the websites and may be subject to limitations or disruptions. To the fullest extent permitted by law, BrowserStack shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with the use of or reliance on Data collected by the Website Scanner.
Definition
Data: Data refers to Customer Content for the purpose of this policy.
Customer Content: For the purpose of this policy, the Customer Content also includes artifacts such as “dummy” accounts used for testing, cookie configurations, test name, test details, website data and relevant metadata information which are required for this service to operate.
Consent
By choosing to use Website Scanner you agree to provide BrowserStack the right to access, use, modify and transmit data (“Data import”) from submitted websites for the limited purpose of using this offering. You further agree that BrowserStack may use aggregated or anonymized Customer Content for any business purpose during or after the term during which you use the offering, including without limitation to develop and improve BrowserStack products and services and to create and distribute insights, reports and other materials.
Further you deemed to have consented to these Additional Privacy Terms including the Terms listed on our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. These Additional Privacy Terms are incorporated by reference into the Terms of Service or any other agreement between the parties. In case of a conflict between these Additional Privacy Terms and the terms mentioned in the Terms of Service, agreement, and/or Privacy Policy pages, these Additional Privacy Terms shall prevail.
