After I upgrade to macOS 15.4 or later, BrowserStack sessions stop working in Chrome and Edge when Netskope is enabled, but continue to work in Firefox. Why does this happen and how do I fix it?

This issue occurs because of a known problem with how Netskope handles QUIC traffic on macOS 15.4 and later. The interference breaks the WebSocket connections required by BrowserStack, causing test sessions to  fail in Chrome and Edge while Firefox remains unaffected.

To work around this issue, create a Netskope Private App for BrowserStack with the following configuration:

  • Host: *.browserstack.com
  • Protocols and Ports:
    • TCP: 443
    • UDP: 443
