Why can’t I enter my password on Apple devices from iOS 13 onwards?

On Apple Devices running iOS 13 and above, whenever a password is being entered, Apple blocks

  1. the streaming of the password field and
  2. the streaming of the keyboard

as part of its security enhancements.

As a result, although the password is actually getting entered successfully, you will not be able to see the keyboard, the keypresses, or the characters being entered into the password field.

Points to remember for a successful Sign In:

  1. Type the full password as you normally would, even if it doesn't reflect on the screen, and then click on the Submit button.
  2. If you are copy-pasting the password from your local machine, please ensure that there are no additional spaces and ensure that you are only using Ctrl C + Ctrl V  to copy and paste the password.

Here's a short video to illustrate how you can sign in successfully just by entering your password, even when it does not show up on the screen.
