Create Projects and Test Cases
Learn how you can create projects and test cases in BrowserStack Test Management.

Create Projects
To create projects:
- Log in to Test Management.
- Click Create Project.
- Enter a project name and description, and then click Create Project.
Every project has three component sections:
- Dashboard
- Test Cases
- Test Runs
Use the project drop-down menu to switch between projects. Or, select View All Projects to list all the projects.
Create Folder
Use folders to organize your test cases in a project. To create a folder:
- Click Create Folder.
- Enter a folder name and description, and then click Create Folder.
- Click on kebab icon next to a folder. It has the following options:
- Create Test Case: Create a test case within the folder.
- Add Sub Folder: Add a folder within the folder.
- Move Folder: Move the folder to a different location.
- Edit Folder: Edit the folder name or description.
-

Click Create Test Case.
Enter a Test Case Name and fill other mandatory details such as State, Owner, Priority, Type of Test Case, and Automation Status.
You can also define Tags, Attachments, and connect a Jira ticket in Jira Issues.

-
Steps to define multiple steps and expected results for every step.
-
Text to define a test case step in general text or paragraphs with an optional precondition.
Click Create.
You can also add a test case if the folder or project is new, enter the test case name and click Add. It adds the test case to the folder.
Import projects and test cases
Alternatively, you can quickly import your projects from TestRail or Zephyr Scale. Also, you can import data using a .csv
