Access app settings in BrowserStack real iOS devices

The Settings app in iOS devices enables you to modify device and app settings based on your preferences. A Settings bundle in an application package contains the custom setting preferences for the app. The Settings app lists apps that have a Settings bundle, to enable you to manage the app settings. App Live enables access to settings for apps that have a Settings bundle. With access to app-specific settings, you can modify app preferences and test your app under different conditions and environments on BrowserStack real iOS devices.

Supported devices and apps

Access iOS app settings

Prerequisite:
Ensure that your app is a supported app.

To access app settings:

1. Log in to the App Live dashboard.
2. On the App Live dashboard, upload your app from the left panel.
3. Select your device from the device listing on the right panel, to launch your test session.
4. On the App Live vertical toolbar, click iOS Settings.
5. In the App Settings section on the iOS Settings prompt, the list of your uploaded apps that have Settings bundle are displayed. From the displayed list, select the app for which you want to modify the settings.
